Bali Trip Day 1 (Airport & Lovina)
Bali is a well known Island located in Indonesia.The best travel period to Bali would be from April to September. It was a 5 days 4 night tour with my gang of friends.
After 3+hrs flight, we touched down at Bali airport. Taken sometimes for us to get contact with our drive in the crowd, so get confirm the pick up point with your driver and time beforehand when there is internet connection.
We hired a driver with 11 seater van, if you are looking for driver, you can google it out ''Bali Driver''. Looking out from the window while heading to the hotel, I was astounded by the traffic condition..driver cross through red light like it's green.
Our tour, the driver, brought us to Restaurant Malioboro Ayam Tulang Lunak for lunch which is nearby the airport.The signature food of this restaurant is Ayam Presto Goreng Crispy.The food here is similar to Malaysia Ayam Penyet which is my favorite! I have ordered Ayam Tulang Lunak, one of their signature food as the bone can be eaten. Can't wait to eat!
Filled full after meal. I personally felt that.. it is pricey and not tasty (tasteless) as what I'm expected!!! felt disappointed.
Appendix: Driver always bring tourist to the restaurant that pay them commission, when commission is taking into consideration, the quality is always bad. Next time, better survey first and directly head to the nominated restaurant without going through driver suggestion. Trust me, if you follow driver's suggestion.. it will spoil your whole trips if you're a typical food lover that looking for reasonable/budget food to save more for the next meal.
After checked in,we look for the nearby restaurant for dinner. A touch light was provided by hotel keeper. TOUCH LIGHT? Yes, in order to get to the restaurant, we need to walk through a street (from hotel to the main road) without the street light. We took authentic local Ayam Penyet and Pecel Lele to settle our dinner which is the only choice because it is hardly to find stall or restaurant here. I ordered Ayam Penyet and my partner order pecel lele.
Pecel lele, lele mean fish, it was raised in the paddy, slaughter alive when customer order. Thus it is fresh. The price here is reasonable.
We went back to hotel after dinner because there is no night activity although it was only 10 pm. Hotel keeper went back to home after left us the main gate door key. So, left only our peoples in the hotel, quite dangerous.
The only night activity is swimming. We embraced the public swimming pool, drink bear and ate junk food.. sound like a small private swimming pool party. It was a joyful night!

Lovina, 3 hours journey from Bali airport. Lovina is located at north of Bali which is well known wild Dophin tour. Basically, we spent 2 days to travel by car for the trip to Dolphin Watching Trip.
Passed by few mountains in the night, road vision was super dark and only supported by car light. Get yourself a front seat if you're adventurer. After a long night sleeping in the car and adventuring ( estimated 3-4 hours), we finally arrived at our hotel. Our hotel located in the small town, a small village.
Lovina Oasis Hotel. Build in with a spacious and clean swimming pool in the middle of hotel. Studio size room, with a toilet and small kitchen.
